These hand painted graphics were painted using water based metallic paints. This took as many as four coats to build up the opaque vibrant finish for each color.

The tiles are also hand painted one by one that are at the base of the dome. The ceiling border and compass star painted just below the dome as you enter the library. The dome is 28 feet in diameter and over 60 feet above the floor level. The project was completed in 45 days. Painting for several hours each day to meet the deadline.
